The NSW Regional Cultural Fund has knocked back our application for funding for a regional community cultural centre at the Old Bega Hospital. The application was the culmination of several years work, not only by the Reserve Trust but also by architects, Council, heritage advisers, engineers, no small number of government administrators and no small number of members of the community. So it is a very disappointing result. Read what the Regional Cultural Fund had to say.

The Reserve Trust will look at what options it has to continue working to get the Old Bega Hospital restored for the community. The building isn't going away, and one day it will be brought back to life. We just need to work out how to do it.
