It’s Show Time now

Come on down to the Bega Show this weekend (18 - 19 February, gates open at 9am) and catch up with the Friends volunteers at the Friends of the Old Bega Hospital stand in the Pavilion. We’re in the NE corner, next to north door. There are freebies you can pick up, as well as raffle tickets, tshirts, tea towels and our latest, the Old Bega Hospital Put it Back Together Again jigsaw puzzle.

The jigsaw puzzle features a stunning aerial photo of the ruins taken by local photographer Cliff Shipton at the 2022 Raise Roof Spring Fair sponsored by Bendigo Bank. The Jigsaw was hand-made by PuzzleMe at Pambula. They are $30 in a box, and $35 in a tin.

And Trivia Night on 1 April

The annual Trivia Night is back, after three years of Covid ructions. This entertaining night is one of the three major fundraisers that Friends of the Old Bega Hospital has each year with all the proceeds going towards the Old Bega Hospital restoration and fitout.

The Trivia Night cost is $10 per person and there are tables of eight. However if you want to come as a couple or by yourself that's fine too and you can join a table with others who can't make up the eight.

Restoration progress?

Tenders for the restoration closed on 31 January. The tender assessment process is in train. All ‘commercial in confidence’ at this stage.
